Welcome to the Science Journalism Forum 2023! The attendance fellowships are now being offered to support our colleagues who may face financial barriers in attending the event. The fellowship allows you to access the full program, providing you with the opportunity to be inspired, engaged, and connected with others, without any restrictions on accessing event activities and materials.

In this year’s edition, the forum aims to explore the theme of ‘Science Journalism: Seeking Best Practices’ and features stories of successful initiatives or revolutionary changes within the field of science journalism.

The forum is organized in 5 languages: English, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, and French, to accommodate participants from different regions and language backgrounds.

You can access complete information about SJF23 on our website. We kindly advise you to read through the information attentively before proceeding with your application.
SJF23 is scheduled to take place from 23rd to 26th of October, 2023.
You may submit your samples in the original language without the need for translation.
The attendance fees for professionals are 49 USD, while students can attend for 25 USD.
In the spirit of inclusivity, we kindly urge those who are financially able to consider leaving the full fellowship opportunity available for those who require assistance. By doing so, you contribute to creating a more accessible and equitable experience for all participants.
Accepted fellows are expected to attend the entire program of their preferred languages.
Rest assured that any data you share with us will be treated as confidential. We will never disclose it to any third party, except for the fellowship funders. Furthermore, all additional details provided will remain anonymous and will not be shared with anyone.
